Government Polytechnic for Women, Srikakulam
was established in 1993 under World bank Assisted Project.
It is functioning under Administrative & Academic Control of " Department of Technical Education, Govt. of Andhra Pradesh" as well as "State Board of Technical Education & Training, Andhra Pradesh".The institution offers three Diploma courses in disciplines namely Computer Engineering(DCME,3 years), Electronics and Instrumentation(DEIE,3 years) and Pharmacy(DPh,2 years), with an intake of 40 in each course. All the three courses are approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE, NewDelhi).
